Welcome to 2015

Welcome to 2015
January 15, 2015 Redfoot Youth Theatre

Posted: January 15, 2015

It’s a new year, and with it comes a brand new season of theatre! Redfoot is back, and in a big, big way. 2015 boasts many changes to the theatre, for our community and for our members, which will see us take the work of our young actors to new heights and share it with you every step of the way.

We’re more excited than ever about a packed season of youth theatre, with our 2015 offering boasting a range of unique and diverse productions. We’re kicking things off with our first ever venture into the heart of Perth theatre culture: the Perth Fringe World Festival. Our own original production of The Greatest Children Story Ever Written will be performing at St George’s Cathedral as part of the festival, alongside the re-imagined version of last year’s Panto Express, Snow White and the Seven Short Pirates.

The fun doesn’t stop there, with even more productions throughout the year including You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, plus many more. It promises to be a memorable season of youth theatre, with many unforgettable moments just around the corner and we can’t wait to see you at the theatre!

The first of many important changes is the one you’re looking at right now – our brand new website. This site is now the one-stop shop for all things Redfoot: information, news, events, workshops and special announcements plus it is also the gateway to tickets for every Redfoot production. During it’s infancy, the site will continue to grow and will include more content as it becomes available, so be sure to check back regularly to see what’s new. If there’s something you can’t find on our website though, just get in touch with us and we’d be happy to help you out.

Redfoot is now more social than ever, and we love interacting with each and every theatre lover who supports us. In addition to our existing Facebook page, we are now on Instagram and Vimeo and can’t wait to start sharing! Along with our usual stream of Redfoot news, our social media platforms will be used to share behind the scenes content from each of our productions, theatre news from around Western Australia and the content created by you, our community. To start sharing and connecting with us, simply follow us on one of our social platforms and use the hashtag #redfootyouththeatre or tag us with @redfootyouththeatre to have your post appear on our Instagram page!
