Annie Aitken!
This is a unique opportunity for girls and boys from any school aged 13 - 18, to learn from and work with one of Australia’s most acclaimed and versatile music theatre leading ladies, with over a decade of experience performing in professional musicals and opera in Australia and the UK. Annie has most recently starred as Sarah Brown in Guys and Dolls on Sydney Harbour and Cunégonde in Candide at the Sydney Opera House for Opera Australia.
Curtain Up! Acting Through Song Holiday Workshop with Annie Aitken
Dive into the craft of acting through song in a fun, supportive, and inspiring environment.
Monday 6 October to Wednesday 8 October
This 3-day workshop runs Monday to Wednesday, 10AM to 4PM daily, with time to refuel and refresh during breaks.
Who should attend? Girls and boys from any school aged 13 - 18.
What to expect?
We'll start each day with warm-ups for voice and body
Explore storytelling and character through group exercises
Take part in a fun 'mock audition' so everyone gets a chance to tackle audition nerves in a safe and encouraging environment
Work individually and in small groups to develop performance skills, interpretation, and confidence
Work specifically on material for any upcoming performances or auditions
Connect with like-minded young theatre enthusiasts and build lasting friendships and a community
Celebrate their progress in a final showcase performance for family and friends

Payment and Refund Policy
Payment: The full fee is payable at the time of booking to secure a place in the program.
Refund Policy: Cancellations made at least fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the first scheduled day of class are eligible for a refund of the total session fee, less a non-refundable deposit of $90. Cancellations made fewer than fourteen (14) calendar days before the commencement of the class are not guaranteed a refund. In such cases, any refund issued will be at the sole discretion of redfoot youth theatre.
