Telling Tales – A Redfoot Youth Theatre Production Inspired by the Brothers Grimm

Step into a world of enchantment with Telling Tales, a heartwarming and imaginative performance by Redfoot Youth Theatre, featuring talented young performers from Years 7, 8, and 9. Hosted by the charismatic Danny, this informal hour-long showcase offered a rare behind-the-scenes glimpse into the rehearsal process and the collaborative spirit of ensemble theatre-making.

Audiences were invited to experience a magical indoor picnic setting at the Cygnet Theatre, complete with cushions, blankets, and shared snacks, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for family and friends. Through clever villains, enchanted forests, and unexpected twists, our brave adventurers brought the timeless stories of the Brothers Grimm to life with fresh energy and creativity.

This was a unique celebration of youth theatre, storytelling, and artistic exploration — where fairy tales were reimagined, and the creative journey was just as captivating as the final performance.
