VENUE: Cygnet Theatre, Hale School, Wembley Downs
DURATION: 90 minutes (with a 20-minute interval)
SUITABILITY: Mature Themes. Ages 12+

Redfoot Youth Theatre proudly presented The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, a powerful play by Simon Stephens based on Mark Haddon's award-winning novel. Performed by talented Year 10–12 students at Hale School’s Cygnet Theatre, this mature-themed production captivated audiences across four performances, including a special schools’ session aligned with the WACE Drama curriculum.

This standout production was directed by Adam Mitchell, a multi award-winning Australian theatre director known for his work across theatre, opera, and music theatre. With nearly 20 productions for Black Swan State Theatre Company and leadership roles in youth theatre and national festivals, Adam brought a rare level of professional expertise to our senior ensemble.

We are proud to have collaborated with such an accomplished artist, whose vision elevated this production to new heights.
