This term, Redfoot invited enthusiastic performers into the Black Box for our 9-week ensemble workshop designed to build their theatre skills,

deepen their creativity, and strengthen our Redfoot community.

Black Box Series 1 – VERGE

Hale boys and girls from any school in

YEAR 10, 11 & 12

VERGE is a self-devised theatre project inspired by verge-side collection - forgotten furniture, broken appliances, and discarded treasures.

Together, we’ll transform cast-off objects into powerful storytelling through movement, character work, improvisation, and ensemble collaboration.

This is theatre stripped back to its core: people, stories, and space.

This project is about exploration, development, and skills acquisition - alongside Redfoot’s trademark focus on friendship, collaboration, and community.

Start: Monday 9 March, 6:00pm – 8:00pm
Weekly Workshops: Mondays & Wednesdays, 6:00pm – 8:00pm
Duration: Term 1, Week 7 – Term 2, Week 4

The project concludes with a low-key Show & Tell in Week 4, Term 2, open to family and friends - a chance to share the journey.

Whether you’ve worked with Redfoot before or are stepping into the space for the first time, this workshop welcomes students who are curious, committed, and ready to explore in a supportive and creative environment - building confidence, courage, and strong friendships along the way.
